Wild Willy’s is a favorite for its natural pools and stunning location in the Eastern Sierra Nevada.

You’ll want to aim for sunrise to avoid the crowds and the mosquitos! This is known for being a bit of a party spot during the day, too. We camped overnight so we could be the first ones to get there.

4. Keough’s Hot Springs

“Inside,” Keough’s. A pool with a warmer hot spring pool in the back.

Keough’s Hot Springs is a historic spot near Bishop, offering both natural and man-made pools. It was nice to have a practical hot spring with amenities for a change!

The natural pool is quite nice as well and is just a few minutes walk from the main pool. The only downside is that there are powerlines close by, and it’s not as relaxing with an electrical buzz in your ear!

5. Grover Hot Springs State Park

Grover Hot Springs State Park, located in the eastern Sierra Nevada, is a hidden gem for those looking to combine hiking and soaking.

The natural hot springs feed into a pool surrounded by forested beauty, making it a peaceful retreat after a day of outdoor adventures or a long drive!

This one is also a short detour off Highway 395 before the road heads into Nevada.

Grover is the northmost, and you’ll end up in Keough’s.

In our opinion, the three in between are the true stunners of the show! It’s just over an hour between Travertine and Wild Willys and Hilltop.

BONUS: Shoshone Hot Spring Pool

Shoshone's pool is nice a blue and long with some trees in the back.

If you’re heading south, you can add on Shoshone Hot Spring. We camped at Shoshone Trailer RV Park and got to use the pool.

After a grueling day hiking in Death Valley, it was the perfect temp for a dip (just warm, not hot)!

Happy hot spring hopping!
