Getting to Drift Creek Falls Trailhead
The trailhead is about 30 minutes outside of Lincoln City.
The drive is along a narrow, winding road, but don’t worry—it’s paved and takes you through a beautiful, lush green forest.

Once you reach the trailhead, you’ll find a large parking lot and a vault toilet for convenience.
The Trail: A Scenic, Forested Path
This is an easy, 3-mile round-trip trail that winds through an old-growth forest filled with moss-covered trees, ferns, and lush greenery.
Along the way, you’ll cross a few small bridges and navigate some rooty sections and occasional trees that might require a quick hop or duck.
There’s a slight descent on the way to the falls, so save a bit of energy for the way back up!
The Suspension Bridge and Waterfall
The bonus part of this hike is the long suspension bridge that takes you over a canyon, with Drift Creek Falls visible just to your right.
You’ll get fantastic views of the falls from the opposite side of the bridge, making it well worth the trek. Snap some photos and take a moment to soak it all in from this unique vantage point.
